Programs

MUSIC

Music Department of Eastern School provides predominant private lessons in all major instruments.
Along with these lessons, students have opportunity to participate in Eastern Youth Symphony Orchestra and chamber music ensembles.

We hold an annual concert at Carnegie Hall in spring and an annual achievement student recital in fall at Eastern Hall. These concert and recital motivate students’ musical experiences and performing skills.

Music lessons are scheduled on 4 weeks or 12 weeks sessions. To receive the maximum benefit from lessons, students are expected to take a minimum of one lesson per every week. Lessons will be given at the same time of each week.

Private music lessons are available in English, Korean, Chinese and Japanese.

Eastern School is proud to work in cooperation with following two music organizations such as NYSSMA and The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music. Please visit the website: nyssma.org and abrsm.org for more information about their programs.

ART

Visual Art Department of Eastern School helps students who explore creativity through fundamental skills. Each program has its unique characteristics which suit every student’s development. We offer classes for children, adults and portfolio for specialized schools and advanced art schools.

DANCE

Dance Department of Eastern School shares the philosophy of which human emotions and thoughts can be transforming into body movements. The program has various dance classes such as ballet, jazz dance, modern dance and hip hop.
All dance classes are held in our newest Eastern Hall accompanied by Dolby digital surround sound system.
